Using the Binance-Chain/BSC for the first time can be daunting. This article will guide you step by step through the process and allow you to purchase your first Moonboy Tokens.
Firstly, download Metamask Wallet using your Browser.
Once downloaded and a new wallet is created, store your seed phrase and password safely. If you have a hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor), the Moonboy team advises users to import the hardware wallet onto your metamask.
You will then need to connect your wallet to the Binance-Chain network by adding a new RPC and entering the network details as seen in the image below.
Once you finish this step, your metamask will show as connected to the Binance-Chain network. From there you can add the $Moonboy token address by ‘’Add Token’’ and copying and pasting this address. **0xEd2c17DBbCe2D8Ae976a1534a1e537DB0138ecDd**. Once you have added the token address, you are then able to view your Moonboy tokens on metamask.
Bitcoin Exchange | Cryptocurrency Exchange | Binance:
In order to make trades and buy tokens on Binance-chain, you will need to purchase the BNB token from the exchange. BNB is also used as Gas for the network. Once you buy the BNB token you will need to withdraw the token from Binance exchange and send it to your metamask address. To make this transfer easy, just click on your address at the top of your metamask wallet and enter it in as the withdrawal address. Make sure when you withdraw that you select the “Binance Smart Chain (BSC)” as seen in the image below.
Once you have BNB in your wallet you can go to PancakeSwap to buy your Moonboy Token. On the left hand side of the PancakeSwap main page click on “Trade” and then “Exchange”. This will bring you to the “Swap” section where you can trade your BNB for Moonboy. (Seen in images below). Enter the Moonboy Token Address **0xEd2c17DBbCe2D8Ae976a1534a1e537DB0138ecDd** and Swap your BNB for Moonboy.
Note: Make sure to use the updated “V2” and not V1 as Moonboy has been updated to the newest V2 version.
Note: Sometimes you may need to increase “Slippage” or to remove the last digit of the Token amount Eg: .99 BNB as this has been a little issue with PancakeSwap.
